01:34:07  <jpleau>hi. Should the copyright be given to "Luvit Authors" for the files in luv: deps/luac.lua and deps/lua_one.c ? (This is for the upcoming debian / ubuntu package for luv). We found the ones in cmake/ had a different one, deps/*.cmake have different authors too, these two are remaining

03:48:48  <creationix>jpleau: my guess is he copied those from somewhere in the lua community and they are licensed MIT, but it would be good to know the origin

20:36:17  <SinisterRectus>anyone know what might be the best way to do interprocess communication between luvit and a pure lua process running luv? i'm using TCP right now. works just fine. just wondering if there are better/easier ways.
20:39:36  <daurnimator>SinisterRectus: unix socket?
20:40:23  <SinisterRectus>sad thing is i have no idea how that would work, or pipes, or anything that i think might be the right way to do this
20:40:33  <SinisterRectus>that's why i went with local TCP
20:40:54  <SinisterRectus>also would be nice if it worked on windows too
20:41:46  <daurnimator>SinisterRectus: does one process spawn the other?
20:41:59  <SinisterRectus>nope, they are manually ran
20:42:34  <SinisterRectus>although i might be able to make one spawn the other
21:27:08  <jpleau>creationix: cool thanks. I'll try to go from there :)
21:39:50  <cat5e>I feel like my mdxml parser is overcomplicated...
